管道因温度变化产生热胀冷缩现象，管线受热膨胀变形，受冷收缩发生断裂，为了避免这种现象产生的管线破坏叫热力补偿。一般在管段加入补偿器，管线因温度变化而伸长或缩短的配件，热力管线上所利用的主要有波形补偿器和波纹管两种。
CS热力管道伸缩器特点
管道伸缩器的链接主要有法兰连接、焊接两种，直埋式伸缩器（非地沟、设井安装时）一般采用焊接。管道伸缩器具有良好的综合性能，所以它广泛用于化工、建筑、给水、排水、石油、轻重工业、冷冻、卫生、水暖、消防、电力等基础工程
使用范围：CS型热力套管伸缩器是电厂、核电、发电、炼钢、扎钢及污水处理工程等给排水管道的必备 设备，它的使用温度200℃～350℃，它的使用压力1.0～2.5MPa.
安装注意事项：
1、安装前松开压盘螺栓，将伸缩器拉长至安装长度（见下表），然后对角法拧紧螺栓，切勿压偏。
2、本伸缩器应安装在管道的直线段上两个固定支架之间，为保证伸缩器正常伸缩并防止拉脱，应设有导向支架及档件。
